Baby it's cold outside

Baby, it's cold outside!
The winter months are full of joy and merriment, but they can really mess with your skin! Below we've listed some helpful tints that will have you ready for that peck under the mistletoe in no time!

Exfoliate

If you let those dead skin cells pile up, moisturising your skin would be useless because the dead skin prevents the nourishing ingredients in your moisturising products from seeping deep beneath the healthy layer of skin to hydrate and protect. So scrub a rub rub babe, preferably with an all natural coffee body scrub like One Scrub!

Use a Nourishing Cleanser

Washing your body and face with harsh, unnatural cleansers can cause the skin to become red, raw and irritated throughout the winter months. Instead, try natural, nourishing ones packed full of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants. Some of the best cleansers to use are ones made with cocoa butter, shea butter, olive oil, almond oil, and coconut oil.

Hydrate with a Moisturiser

Some of the most hydrating moisturisers to use on the face and body contain cocoa butter, shea butter, mango butter, coconut oil, olive oil, almond oil and sesame oil, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and essential fatty acids. Even ones with oats, aloe, milk and honey are helpful too. Avoid moisturisers that contain parabens, alcohol, dyes, fragrances and sulfates. These unnatural ingredients can cause troublesome skin conditions that cause dryness, redness and itching.
