Exfoliating = Happiness

What is exfoliation?

Exfoliation is the practice of scrubbing your skin to remove dead skin cells with a body brush, glove or coffee body scrub like One Scrub, which can build up and clog up your pores.

Exfoliating with a coffee body scrub is an excellent way to improve the overall quality of your skin, but it is crucial to exfoliate in moderation. Excessive exfoliation can result in oil imbalances on your skin, which can lead to the development of various unwanted skin conditions. Ideally, you should try to exfoliate once or twice every week.

People with dry or sensitive skin may want to exfoliate even less frequently to avoid thinning out their skin and causing dermal problems. Exfoliating has a number of long-term benefits that anybody can enjoy in moderation. The largest benefit is the chance to remove dead skin cells, impurities and the greasy appearance from the skin’s surface.

When the skin is fresh and exfoliated, products take more quickly and easily. Moisturisers and other serums are able to penetrate unimpeded by the presence of dead skin cells, and the youthful glow is further amplified by the appropriate products. Additionally, studies show that preparing the skin by exfoliating can allow you to enjoy a deeper tan.
Exfoliation can allow you to enjoy medical benefits by improving blood circulation. With less dead skin cells cluttering the dermis, more nutrients and oxygen can flow into the skin cells, improving the way the skin functions. It can be one of the best ways to improve colour, texture and even overall metabolic activity.

Avoid applying makeup immediately after you exfoliate, and make sure that you do not exfoliate after shaving. You want to give your skin plenty of time to breathe and rest before it comes in contact with other products.
